Even though G2A recently updated their site to appease developers, there are developers still having issues with the site.
Even after these updates on their policy, Defenders Quest developer Douglas Doucet has come out and stated that it's better to pirate a game via torrents than buying it from G2A.
This is some of the things he had to say about G2A:
I never thought the day would come where I passionately argue that fans should pirate my game rather than pay for it, but here we are.[...] To be clear I don't agree with or condone piracy.
Even though he stated this, he is clear that he's not advocating for piracy for games. He is rather critical on grey market sites like G2A where you can sell keys as a third party.
He makes it clear it is the "worst choice" for the consumer and wants gamers to stay clear of that site.
We will update you on more info as it's available.
